About the Playwright
Edwin Century, also known as Edwin M. Boateng is a young and promising Ghanaian writer. His works spread from poetry to prose and to drama, with a significant touch of humor in his every work, even in his tragedies. He is a proud Paduan from Ebenezer Senior High School, and an alumnus of the University of Ghana, Legon. He currently holds a degree in Political Science and Information Studies although many would say he is deserving of a degree in Theatre Arts given his theatrical genius. He started Eddytales in the year 2015 with the assistance of friends, and has since produced many story series, animation series, slideshow stories with narrations, and stageplay productions. Some of his plays include The God of Robinhood, Ananse Ayekoo and The Rock of Ages, with the latter being the first to be staged live.
